The Sydney University Surgical Society (SUSS) is proud to present Upper GI Surgical Grand Rounds.

Dr Thomas Hugh will discuss diseases commonly encountered as an upper GI surgeon and their operative management.

Dr Hugh is the Head of the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Royal North Shore Hospital. His primary clinical interests are in the fields of hepatobiliary surgery, hernia repair, and complex laparoscopy. His primary research interests include clinical outcomes and quality of life following surgery for upper GI malignancies, as well as basic science research investigating molecular markers for prognosis in hepatobiliary tumours.
