SUSS Workshops
Practice basic surgical skills in the SUSS Skills LabLocated in fresh premises in The Royal Prince Alfred Institute of Academic Surgery, the lab offers a place for students interested in surgery to practice basic surgical skills including knot tying and suturing. The IAS boasts a simulation theatre, skills laboratory and tutorial/meeting rooms. We, in coordination with the IAS, provide a space for like-minded students to interact and discuss research and clinical experiences available at the various clinical schools attached to the Sydney Medical School.
If a current student of the Sydney Medical School wishes to organise a teaching session in the lab, please contact the Skills Lab Coordinator (please note, formal skills sessions for Stages 1 and 2 of the SMP will be organised throughout the year).
