The Sydney University Surgical Society and GlobalHOME are proud to present their annual joint event, the Global Surgery Grand Rounds. This is an opportunity to hear from the inspiring surgeons and aid workers who are at the front lines of war, extreme poverty, natural disasters and humanitarian crisis, to lend their skills to people in desperate need of their help.

Dr Sarah Tolerton is an early-career Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon who has previously volunteered as a registrar with Interplast in Vientiane Hospital in Laos at the Mahosot General Hospital. She will provide an interesting insight into volunteering during training, the hows and the whys.
