SUSS WorkshopsPractice basic surgical skills in the SUSS Skills Lab
If a current student of the Sydney Medical School wishes to organise a teaching session in the lab, please contact the Skills Lab Coordinator (please note, formal skills sessions for Stages 1 and 2 of the SMP will be organised throughout the year).
SUSS is running a series of workshops to help students acquire basic suturing skills. This workshops are aimed for Stage 2 students, focusing on the vertical and horizontal mattresses and subcuticular suture, with the opportunity to try more advanced techniques upon mastery as per the RACS competencies guideline.
Attendance at the workshops will incur a cost of $2 to help cover the cost of the suturing materials
